Having achieved Gold, this training is all about maintaining your Rights Respecting journey and keeping your practice strong.
This course is suitable for RRSA coordinators in schools that have achieved the Gold: Rights Respecting. It aims to support you in maintaining a strong focus on rights and sustaining excellent rights-based practice. The session will facilitate the sharing of good practice among participants, explain how to prepare for a reaccreditation visit and what to expect from the process.
Objectives are:
- To support continued engagement with RRSA Gold.
- To explore strategies to sustain a child rights approach in school.
- To share good practice at Gold and build partnerships.
- To be confident in the reaccreditation process.
If your Gold accreditation was several years ago or more recent but practice has lapsed please speak with your Professional Adviser to discuss other training options.
Course duration: 2 hours (1:30 – 3:30pm)
Cost: Two training places are included in your annual membership fee.
If your school is not a current member, training is charged at £210 per participant.
If you are unable to attend please cancel your place through Eventbrite.
Platform: Sessions will take place online, via Microsoft Teams.
You will not need to download any special software to access, you will be able to join the session through your web browser.
Do ensure you have access to a working camera and microphone as all our training is interactive.
