OutRight 2024-2025

Sign up to OutRight 2024/2025 – a learning journey that will deepen children’s understanding of the UNCRC, democracy and global citizenship, whilst empowering them to use their voices and become change makers!

This year, OutRight will develop children’s knowledge of:  

• Children’s rights and the UNCRC   

• The different mechanisms for using their voice and making change (including democracy and global citizenship)  

• How to use their voices, calling on decision-makers to act on the children’s rights issues that children themselves see as the most important   

By participating, you’ll get access to learning activities, presentations, live events and support from us, to run OutRight successfully with the children and young people you work or volunteer with.

Please note: By registering in advance, you’ll automatically receive the resources via email!

Who can take part?

OutRight is a campaign by children and young people, for children and young people.

Any school, youth club and organisation or home schooler in the UK can take part! 

When does OutRight take place?

OutRight launches in August 2024. Groups can participate in most of the activities at any time during the year and we hope that this makes it even easier for children and young people to get involved.

Previous Campaigns

Over the years children and young people taking part in OutRight have learned about and spoken up on issues including:

• climate adaptation
• children’s right to the best possible health and health systems strengthening
• mental health and wellbeing
• the rights of refugee children
• air pollution
• the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
• climate change
