The image on this page was art directed by young people at a Gold Rights Respecting School. The concept behind this image was participation in a Rights Respecting School; everyone participates and achieves, everyone tries and their efforts are applauded. Jare, 15, said: “It’s about everyone participating and getting an award for participating. The main person is in front, but the others still get an award. The theme is winning and excitement. Everyone tried here, and their efforts are acknowledged, so that’s basically what that’s about, everyone being acknowledged.”
