10 April 2019 – “UNICEF is deeply saddened by yesterday’s attack in the North Sinai town of Sheikh Zuweid.
“A six-year-old boy was among those reportedly killed. UNICEF expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the attack.
“A 15-year-old boy was allegedly used to conduct this attack. He was also killed.
“The use of children in violence is a grave violation of children’s rights.
“All children in Egypt must be protected at all times and must never be targets of violence.”
