Donate to our Gaza appeal
The ceasefire is here. Children need you now.
Since October 2023, we have been helping to deliver life-saving resources and materials to children and families in Gaza and the wider State of Palestine. 60% of those killed in the violence are women and children and there are 1.5 million children in need nationally.
The war has had a horrific impact on children and their families, which will last long after the fighting has stopped.
Some of the ways we are scaling up our response to help children in Gaza include:
- Ensuring children receive vital vaccines to protect against disease.
- Providing diagnosis and treatment for malnourished children.
- Enabling the supply of clean water for drinking and washing.
We must use this moment to reach even more children with life-saving assistance.
Donate to our Gaza Crisis Appeal or explore the ideas below on how to support Gaza and Palestine to make an impact.
1. Create a fundraiser
Our inspiring community of fundraisers are taking action after asking themselves ‘how can I help Gaza and Palestine?’
We have plenty of support on our fundraising page on how to get started with your own fundraiser. You can also download some materials for your events and find tips on how to meet your fundraising targets.
Some popular ways people have been fundraising for Gaza include:
- Marathons such as The London Marathon
- Walks
- Bike rides
- Mountain treks
In addition, you can fundraise through your school, community organisations such as religious groups, book clubs or social media networks.
The easiest way to begin is by heading to JustGiving to set up your own fundraising page.
The money reaches us automatically via JustGiving, so you don’t need to worry about sending it in.
2. Become a corporate partner
If you own or represent a business, you may be asking yourself ‘As a workforce, what can we do to help Gaza and Palestine?’
You have the power to help transform the lives of vulnerable children in Gaza and The State of Palestine by forming a partnership with us.
In effect, we can help provide both immediate relief in Gaza and long-term infrastructure that improves children’s lives.
Email [email protected] to begin a partnership with us, or find out more about corporate partnership.
3. Campaign with us
Right now, the people of Gaza currently rely completely on international aid to survive. The previous UK government made cuts to international aid, limiting our efforts to help children in Gaza and the rest of the world.
Your voice matters in urging the government to protect children by prioritising their rights.
Join thousands of supporters who have signed the Futures at Risk petition to call for the UK government to protect children’s futures.
4. Become a philanthropist
We are grateful to support a network of leading philanthropists across a variety of sectors who are using their influence to help children in Gaza and the State of Palestine.
Philanthropists are taken on a special journey through our work in the form of:
- Dedicated support from a member of our Philanthropy team.
- A choice of how your donation is used to support Palestine (or you can leave it up to us to use the money where it is needed the most).
- Invitations to exclusive events, including our annual, star-studded gala event, the Blue Moon Gala.
If you are an individual philanthropist or looking to make a major donation as a family, please read more.
5. Stay informed
One of the most powerful things you can do is keep learning about the situation in Gaza and our latest work.
Here are some ways you can stay in the know:
- Read the stories about children in The State of Palestine to understand their challenges and their hopes in their own words.
- Follow the latest coverage around Gaza in the news. Our spokesperson James Elder often appears on the air to share his first-hand account of the harrowing war on children in Gaza.
- Stay informed by browsing through our State of Palestine Situation Reports. These reports provide a clear picture of the challenges children and families are facing and what we are doing to address them.
