Donate to help us reach more children and families in Gaza
Airstrikes in Gaza on 18 March have killed hundreds of people, including dozens of children. We urge all parties to end the violence and reinstate the ceasefire immediately.
Throughout Gaza and the broader State of Palestine, one million children have been plunged back into fear.
The lives of one million children are at risk.
60% of those killed in Gaza since October 2023 are women and children. Children and families have faced repeat displacement, widespread violence, hunger and disease. The risk of famine is growing.
We must continue to reach even more children with life-saving assistance. With our partners, we have scaled up our response to meet the enormous need for humanitarian aid.
There are no safe spaces in Gaza.
Support our work for children in Gaza with a donation today.
How to donate to Gaza
Your donation will help us support children in Gaza and the wider State of Palestine. One of the best ways to donate to Palestine and support our work is through a monthly direct debit.
For example, you can help to alleviate the devastating effects of malnutrition with just £10 a month. This could provide a week’s worth of life-saving therapeutic food for a child.
Alternatively, you can opt for a one-off donation if you wish. £39 could provide a family with an emergency water and hygiene kit.
Whatever you choose to donate, you will help to make a difference in the lives of children in Gaza.
What are children experiencing in Gaza?
Palestinian children are deprived of the most basic essential supplies and services.
- Children have been deprived of access to routine childhood vaccinations, despite there being enough doses to vaccinate and protect 60,000 children.
- Approximately 4,000 newborns are currently unable to access essential lifesaving care due to the major impact on medical facilities in Gaza.
- Thousands of children have been cut off from treatment for moderate and severe acute malnutrition, putting them at risk of death.
These conditions are intolerable. They pose long-term threats to the quality of life for children and their families. Please donate to support Palestine and help children in Gaza today.
How are we helping children in Gaza?
Since January, we have supported Palestinian children and families in the following ways:
- Reached 82,135 people (9,997 families, 41,025 children) with digital cash transfers to support their basic needs including food, hygiene, and medicine.
- Distributed nutritional supplements, including high-energy biscuits to 224,000 people in the days following the ceasefire in January 2025 and during the movement along the Gaza Strip.
- Supported over 51,000 children with primary health care services, including health consultations and vaccinations.
- Delivered newborn kits to our partners to benefit over 3,900 babies born with complications.
Unfortunately, this only meets a tiny proportion of the need. As conditions worsen and supplies quickly run out, we need your donations to help us support Palestine and reach more children.
FAQs
The ceasefire must be reinstated and sustained, all hostages must be released and reunited with their families. In addition, international humanitarian law must be respected, including allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza immediately.
In addition, we are calling for:
- Prioritisation of children both now and in the process of recovery and reconstruction.
- Meaningful responses to the conflict in Gaza must include trauma-informed child-centred services and development.
- Lasting political solution to the crisis, so that children in Palestine and Israel can grow up in peace and free from the shadow of violence.
We are an impartial, non-political humanitarian organisation.
While we continue to report on and advocate for the protection of all children in both Gaza and Israel, our humanitarian response is driven by the need for aid in Palestine.
Before the renewed violence between October 2023 and March 2025, one million children needed humanitarian aid in Gaza and the West Bank. In high-income countries such as Israel, the State usually provides the supplies and services for children that we undertake or support in lower-income countries.
There is a National Committee for UNICEF in Israel – the Israeli Fund for UNICEF – that works to promote and raise awareness of children’s rights in Israel and to raise funds for our work across the world. You can find out more about its work here.
Alongside our partners, we have moved hundreds of trucks into Gaza with critical emergency supplies such as:
- Hygiene kits
- Nutritional food
- Baby nappies
- Winter clothes
- Water containers

One of the simplest ways to donate to Palestine is by monthly direct debit. Please donate today to support Palestine and help improve the lives of children. As little as £5 per month can provide 1,786 water purification tablets to purify water.
How will your Gaza donation be used?
For the first 6 months, your monthly Gaza donation will go towards funding our work to support children in Gaza and the wider State of Palestine. After that, donations will go to support our work around the world.
In the unlikely event that the funds raised exceed what’s needed for the Gaza emergency appeal, or if funds cannot viably be directed to this appeal, we will direct funds to support our work to help keep children safe and healthy around the world.
