A workbook for neonatal nurses

This workbook supports neonatal staff to improve care for premature or sick babies and their families.

The workbook accompanies the Baby Friendly course Embedding Baby Friendly Standards in Neonatal Care and is designed to support neonatal units to implement the Baby Friendly standards into everyday practice. It can also be purchased to give out during in-house training courses.

This resource includes information on the importance of establishing early relationships in the neonatal unit, how to value parents as partners in care, how to support breastmilk feeding and the transition to successful breastfeeding, and how best to support babies and their families with a close, loving and responsive relationship in the long term.
