28 March 2017 – Sol Oyuela, Director of Public Affairs, Unicef UK, says: “We welcome findings from today’s cross-party report which shows UK aid is being spent effectively.

“We know from decades of experience that UK aid has played a vital role in delivering emergency aid and long term poverty reduction programmes to millions of children. Last month, in famine stricken South Sudan we were able to reach thousands of children suffering from severe malnutrition thanks to the quick action of our supporters, partners and DFID.”
