Run for a better world for children
Grab your trainers and get ready to reach an impressive new personal record while helping to build a better world for children. Running is a popular way to encourage the support of your friends, family and community to champion a cause that matters to you. The money you raise will help us deliver vital support through our dedicated programmes such as vaccines, life-saving therapeutic food and education in over 190 countries.
Ways to get involved
1. Secure your ballot (own) place
To join Team UNICEF in any other running event, you’ll need to secure your own ballot place directly with the organisers of the event.
2. Get in touch
If you have your own place, please complete the form here or contact us on 0300 330 5580. We’ll send you a UNICEF branded running vest and support to help kickstart your fundraising.
3. Set up your online fundraising page
While you train and prepare for the big day, take the time to set up your fundraising page and let your friends and family know how to support you. Check out our guidance on how to create your page.
4. Get organised
Make sure you have read through all communications from the event organisers. If you have friends and family cheering for you on the day, send them a copy of the route map (this is usually sent by the event organisers). Most importantly, get plenty of rest and remember to have fun!
How we will support you
If you secure your own place in a running challenge, we’ll support you in the following ways:
- Providing a UNICEF branded running vest
- Sharing useful training and fundraising tips
- Giving you insights on how your fundraising will help children
