Why we’re working together

easyJet and UNICEF have been partnering since 2012. Through the onboard fundraising of easyJet’s crew, the partnership had an extraordinary impact, raising nearly £17 million to support children around the world.

In 2024, a new phase of our partnership will contribute towards UNICEF’s work in education to achieve every child’s universal right to learn by 2030.

What we’re doing

easyJet supports UNICEF’s education programmes through the ‘Every Child Can Fly’ campaign and will continue to raise vital funds to change millions of children’s lives. It will deliver fundraising efforts in the coming years to support UNICEF’s ambition to get every primary and lower secondary age child in school by 2030. This includes contributing to UNICEF’s target of providing access to learning opportunities for more than 100 million children and digital education for 148.6 million children around the world.

UNICEF’s 2030 education roadmap aims to tackle the current global learning crisis by helping to ensure all children have the right to a quality education, including during emergencies. Thanks to easyJet’s network in over 30 countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, every one of easyJet’s 90 million passengers will have the opportunity to help the world’s children and support every child’s right to a quality education.

The partnership also supports our work in emergencies, helping UNICEF build the long-term capacity needed to support children and rapidly respond to emergencies. This includes providing children with the care, supplies and protection that could save their lives whenever and wherever needed.
