In 2012 for Soccer Aid, Actor Keira Knightley visited Chad in the Sahel region of Africa to see UNICEF's vital immunisation work for children. She also spent time with Idris and his family.
When Idris was only a year old he contracted polio, which paralysed him from the waist down.
He has learnt to get around by pulling himself along the ground, and his mum and dad have made him a stand for him to practise holding himself up.
