Following another successful year for our volunteer fundraising groups, it gives us great pleasure to announce to winners of the 2010 awards.  

Four awards were up for grabs: one for the best fundraising group; one for the best emergency fundraising group; another for the group who organised the best event in 2010; and the final award recognised individual group members.

Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations and well done to the award recipients. 2010 was another very busy year and we are grateful to all of our groups for responding so magnificently once again to support and protect the rights of children around the world.

The nominations and winners of the awards are listed below:

Best Fundraising Group Award

Winner: The Benfleet Group, winners for the second year running and who raised an incredible £42,000.

Best Emergency Fundraising Group

Winner: The Isle of Man Group, who raised an incredible £13,424 to help those affected.

Best Group Event Award

Winner: The Leeds Group, who organised a Christmas Craft Fair
